As a new adult patient in our office you will meet with one of the doctors at your first appointment for a comprehensive oral evaluation. During this exam the doctor will take a full inventory of your mouth including a screening for gum disease and oral cancer and address your concerns. We will also need to obtain a full survey of your teeth using our digital radiography. This appointment usually takes an hour and a second appointment may be necessary to discuss the outcome.
After reviewing the information gathered at the appointment the doctor will discuss a treatment plan with you. If you have had a full series or panoramic x-ray done in the last 5 years it would be helpful if you could arrange before your appointment for it to be sent to our office. You can do this by calling the last office and requesting your records be transferred to our office.
If you prefer, you can visit the Patient Forms section of this website. Here you can download a Request for records form, fill it out, and mail it to your last office. Also if you have dental insurance be sure to bring in your current dental benefit card or form. This will speed the registration process.
