Doctors

Dr. Stubbs is a native of southeastern New England and after completing studies at the University of Rhode Island was accepted for early admission to Georgetown University School of Dentistry. Upon graduating Cum Laude he served as a dentist in the U.S. Air Force, where he received the distinguished service award and established an Academy of General Dentistry site for further study. When his service commitment was completed he founded this practice in 1973. Dr. Stubbs and his wife Cathie have lived in Rehoboth for 30 years, where they raised two daughters, Patricia and Carolyn.

Dr. Stubbs has always been an enthusiastic student and has continued his dental education by becoming a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry. This required over 1000 hours of study in all aspects of Dentistry. Further, Dr. Stubbs is an alumnus of the prestigious Pankey Institute. There he studied occlusion and complex treatment planning. Recently he has participated in advanced training in cosmetic dental care, at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. He has also completed training in Lumineers, the latest technology for improving smiles without removing tooth structure.

An important aspect of this practice is community service. Through Dr. Stubbs’ charter membership in the Crown Council, a prestigious national dental organization, this practice participated with the Smiles for Life charity campaign and raised over $70,000 in the past 8 years for children in need, including St. Jude Children’s Hospital and Meeting Street School.

Recognized by his peers in the dental community Dr. Stubbs is serving as vice president of the South East District Dental Society in 2006, and will soon serve as this district’s president.

But most importantly, Dr. Stubbs believes in a patient centered approach to dental care. This means that everything is done to help each patient complete their own plan to reach their goals for improving their dental health and appearance. In order to accomplish this goal an extraordinary team is needed. Dr. Stubbs is very proud of the dedicated, caring and highly skilled people who make up this office team. In over 30 years of practice he is amazed at how much we have improved serving each patient.
