Dental Hygienist

Susan Duncan

A Dighton-Rehoboth native, Sue is a local that has always been known within her community as much more than an oral health care provider. Often recognized for the volunteer work that she has provided within the rehoboth school community, Sue’s dedication to the care and well-being of others is difficult to match. This passion for helping others is what would lead her into the hygiene field. After graduating from Dighton-Rehoboth Regional high school, Sue would go on to earn her dental hygiene degree from Bristol-Community College in 1989. There she was awarded the College Wide Advocate award in addition to the Excellence in Professionalism award from the dental hygiene Department.
‍

Sue has been with Dr. Daft’s office since 1996, where she has had the opportunity to practice her excellence in patient health and education. Her professionalism comes through with each patient she cares for and she is most proud when she sees her patients' hard work pay off. The opportunity to work with a community of caring doctors, hygienists, assistants and office staff, feeds Sue’s passion for continued excellence, altruism and knowledge.
‍

Out of the office, Sue has been married to her Husband Jim for more than 30 years. They enjoyed fishing and canoeing the Palmer River before having a family. She is the proud mother of Jonathan, Andrea and Erica. She thoroughly enjoyed all the school events, sleepovers, sport games, scouting events and dance recitals she attended with them throughout the years. Currently she relishes gathering with her grown kids for large family meals. She also enjoys reading, especially when it is at the beach.
